Uniqueness and Replicatability

by Deborah

As crafters we are making things that really are unique and one of a kind, but we want the process to be replicable and work over and over again. But in the search for duplicability we need to not overlook the gold nuggets that we may produce by accident that may not be able to be made ever again, even by following the exact same “recipe” the next time.

Exactly! It is so easy to get caught up with one thing that works that you overlook numerous opportunities to be boldly creative. This is why this site optimisms the perfect way for me to create; the feedback and inspiration from fellow artists that you know and trust, the blunt criticism that you need to hear and you know they will give because they know you will still love them no matter what they say, the open forum for exploration. Perfect!
