I have been a photographer my whole life and enjoy seeing my work hanging in offices and hotel rooms, in addition to people’s homes. My art is digital, coming from my photography, so photos now have more purpose when I take them than just capturing the immediate moment. I see them in my mind as paintings as well as beautiful photographs. Not all photographs make great art, usually just a percentage make the grade. But I love the ones that do.

I now have my own wide format high quality printer so that I can print my art and photography on a variety of papers in a wide range of sizes right here. I love having control over the complete printing process! “Back in the day” I always said if I had my own darkroom no one would ever see me, well now I basically do and I work from home!

I have recently begun adding words and inspirational quotes to my photography and art, and I would like to invite you to email me or post as a comment your favorite inspirational quote. If I choose to add it to a poster, we will add it to the Loxly Gallery Passion Collection and you can choose a charity to have the proceeds from the print go to.

I also discovered the joy of image transfers and fabrics on polymer clay at the beginning of 2009. I absolutely love the way my art and photography looks on fabric or canvas and then attached to a clay backing. Clay and fabric jewelry is one of my new passions and there will be lots posted here, hope you like it!
